Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage technique is mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue.
Reflexology
With my Reflexology therapy, patients claim to feel relaxed and renewed after each session. I’m trained in a variety of techniques, so I tailor your session to work on your specific goals and needs. I love showing my patients how just a few treatments can make an enormous difference to their health.
Trigger Point Therapy
A trigger point is a tight area within muscle tissue that causes pain in other parts of the body. The results and benefits of trigger point massage are releasing constricted areas in the muscles thus alleviating pain. You can experience a significant decrease in pain after just one treatment.
Hot Stone Therapy
Hot stone massage can relieve pain and tension in your muscles due to the combination of massage therapy and heat. Heat is often recommended as a way to treat achy muscles. Applying heat to an area of the body helps increase blood flow to that spot, which improves healing.
The techniques that your masseuse uses with the hot stones will depend on your specific needs. Therapists often use circular movements, kneading, long strokes, and vibrations.
Swedish Massage
